What Preparations Should be Made Before the Strander Starts?

Strander is a kind of equipment for stranding multiple strands of wire into one strand. Correct operation and use of strander can provide equipment to maintain normal and stable operation. To this end, the necessary preparatory work is still needed.
So, before the strander starts, what preparations should we make?
1. Put the tools and measuring tools on the workbench, and check whether the measuring tools are aligned to zero;
2. Check whether the equipment is normal, especially the power-off protection switch of the wire breaking and shutdown device and protective cover. In case of any abnormality, report to the maintenance personnel for repair immediately;
3. Prepare the semi-finished products according to the production plan, check whether the semi-finished products are qualified and meet the process requirements, install the qualified semi-finished products on the pay off frame, put on the taper sleeve, and adjust the tension;
4. Hang the gear according to the number, pitch and twist direction required by the process, adjust the twist direction, and select and install the drawing die according to the process requirements. Prepare the take-up reel as required, check whether the reel is in good condition, and install the take-up reel on the take-up rack;
5. Pull a lead wire to the traction wheel in the stranding cage through the wire wheel and pipe hole, and wind the traction wheel for 3-4 turns, and fix one end of the lead wire on the take-up reel.
