Causes and Solutions of Screw Leakage in Extruder

During the use of extruder, if there is screw leakage, how should we deal with it? In this case, we should first think about the causes of leakage, and then targeted solutions.
The causes and solutions of screw leakage in extruder are as follows:
1. The cutter is seriously worn. The gap between the cutter and the inner wall of the mud tank is too large, or the spiral angle of the cutter blade is not right.
Solutions:
When replacing the cutter, the gap should be kept at 3-5mm, and the cutter blade should be made according to the designed angle.
2. The surface of cutter blade is too rough, and the friction between mud and blade is too large.
Solutions:
When overlaying welding cutter, it is not necessary to overlay welding in groups. It should be replaced all at once. It should be replaced step by step and in batches to ensure smooth brick production.
3. The liner of mud cylinder wall is seriously worn. The gap between the blade of the cutter and the wall of the mud tank is too large, which leads to too much rotary movement of the mud in the mud tank, and the mud can neither come out nor go in.
Solutions:
Replace new liner of mud cylinder, or install several ribs parallel or inclined to the axial direction on the inner wall of liner to replace the worn-out Laifu groove, prevent the invalid rotation of mud and increase its effective extrusion.
4. The gap between the mud cutter board and the cutter is too large to press the mud.
Solutions:
Adjust or repair welding, update the cutter plate, so that the gap between cutter plate and cutter blade is less than 10 mm.
