What is the Method for Strander to Determine Stranding Direction?

The determination of stranding direction of strander is based on the rotation direction of machine bow in stranding motion. The traditional method to determine the twist direction is as follows:
Look at the top surface of the stranded conductor with one end pointing towards you and the other end away from you.
1. If the single strand conductor on a certain layer, which is far away from the observer, points to the left, then the layer is "left twisted". The inclination direction of a single conductor is the same as that of the middle of the letter "s", so it is also traditionally called "s" stranding direction (forward direction).
2. If the single strand conductor on a certain layer away from the observer points to the right, then the layer is "right twisted". The inclination direction of a single conductor is the same as that of the middle of the letter "Z", so it is also traditionally called "Z" twist direction (reverse direction).
